Abbie Palmer is a board certified music therapist, professional harpist, and rising producer. In her career as a music therapist working in medical facilities such as with hospice, TBI and PTSD, Alzheimer’s/Dementia, eating disorders, developmental disabilities, and more, Abbie’s main specialty has been in offering relaxation and meditation techniques to her clientele. In her live mediation offerings, Abbie primarily provides live harp music and verbal guidance to create a musical aesthetic structured for a deep relaxation experience. As she steps into creating recordings of ambient music for this same purpose, Abbie creates soundscapes for relaxation purposes for listeners. Abbie uses her knowledge of music and psychology to structure the rhythm of music to entrain physiological arousal states and the human nervous system. She also collaborates with other musicians to offer a variety of tonal experiences.
